Week 11 Information

Week 11.... The holidays are in sight Year 4!!
Walkathon money needs to be into teachers by Wednesday if you want to be in the draw to win a book prize. There are two prizes per class. So, do your best to return your sponsorship money if you haven't already.
Also, please try and have your excursion note and money in this week too. The trip to the Performing Arts Centre is the first week back.
Here are this week's spelling rules, dictation passage and handwriting passage. Check out Studyladder and finish off any tasks not already completed. Most importantly, read a little or a lot each night.

Enjoy the week children.

Handwriting Passage for Week 11:
At the sight of the brave knight, the King’s men took flight.  My eyesight is not very good in this twilight.  The lightning was frightful.  I will not yield even if I drop my shield in the field of battle.  I do not believe that the thieves will grieve about the loss I feel.  Let me relieve you of having to achieve so much.  That is a ploy to pinch my toys!
Dictation Passage for Week 11:
You might be right about a night flight.  I had a fright when I saw the bright light.  The chief saw with relief that the handkerchief was not his.  My niece played a piece of music while my uncle leant against the mantelpiece.  Do not destroy these toys.  We made a long voyage to see the royal family.
