Week 10 Homework

If you wriggle and writhe around in bed like that you will wrinkle the bed sheets.  I will wrestle with this wreath until I get it into shape.  I feel wrought-up by what that wretch told me.  It was a wrench to leave home.

Dictation Passage for Week 10:

Term 1 Week 9

Only a few weeks left till Easter holidays Year 4! Make your best effort to complete some homework for the rest of the term and post on the blog. Your speech topic next week is to talk about the upcoming holidays and any plans you may have. It is important that you plan ahead and have some notes written down to help you in your speech.

The canary had better beware of the cat.  The architect glared at the plan and said, “This design is too square”.

Term 1 Week 7

Welcome to Week 7! Keep up the great work posting and doing your Studyladder tasks. Remember to keep collecting sponsors for the walkathon. Your forms need to be at school by this Friday (money can be returned after the walkathon).
Practise your spelling rules and dictation and work on your cursive writing if you have time. It is important to read each night. The teachers are interested to know the names of the chapter books you are reading so you can post these on the blog also. Studyladder tasks have been set for both Year 4 classes.

My nephew saw a picture of an elephant on his alphabet chart. The little orphan did not know how to use the telephone. The trophy consisted of a sphere sitting on top of a sphinx.  I had to check the pamphlet for all the missing hyphens.
